Tembici

Tembici offers bike rental at affordable rates for those without their own bike. With little competition, its bikes are leaders in the sharing market. The project aims to promote sustainable urban mobility, reduce congestion in large cities and provide a practical and economical option for users on a daily basis.

Challenge: Develop a proprietary style of illustration and illustrations on demand for use on Tembici‘s website, app and institutional communication, with easy adaptation of the color system for the apps of the company’s main clients, such as Itaú and Claro.

Solution: In partnership with Handmade Design (now Thoughtworks Brasil), we carried out an initial exploration of proprietary illustration styles for the client and, after approving the visual path to be followed, proceeded with the development of on-demand raffles and illustrations, mostly for onboarding, user feedback, and general instructions for using Tembici‘s bike-sharing service.

The brief challenged us to develop an illustration style with personality and simplicity, which would provide a good user experience with direct and clear visual communication, even for the most technical content.

In addition, the material needed to have an easily adaptable color system to suit the bike-sharing apps of Tembici’s partners. Tembici, such as Itaú e Claro.
