I’m Tigress

Born in 1979 in the megalopolis of São Paulo, Caetano Malta has a multi-disciplinary musical background. Playing guitar, bass, synthesizer and MPC, he has been working with various artists from the current Brazilian scene since 2005. During this period he played with Lucas Santtana, Momo, Karina Buhr, Marcelo Jeneci, Aíla, Guizado, Bixiga 70 and others.

Challenge: To art direct the animated music video for the song “Sou a Tigresa”, by São Paulo musician and composer Caetano Malta.

Solution: From a collage of memories and reminiscences of a not-so-distant past, this animated music video by Brazilian musician Caetano Malta combines the aesthetics of surrealist animation with images of the singers recorded remotely during the year 2020.
