Heineken H41

In 1873, Gerard Heineken opened his small family brewery in Amsterdam’s city center. A city full of life and energy, even at that time. The brewery grew as fast as Amsterdam, and Gerard’s dedication to quality made it an instant success.

Challenge: the Heineken brewery has launched H41, a Limited Edition lager made with a rare “mother” yeast discovered in Patagonia. Developed by the brand’s brewers, the new lager has a fuller flavor, with spicy notes balanced by subtle fruity notes. The challenge was to create an illustrated communication piece for the official launch event of the new beer.

Solution: In partnership with Edelman Amsterdam, we created the illustration for an A2-size poster for print and digital use, inspired by the characteristics of Heineken H41 beer.
